Sandugo Adventure Race is an adventure race from
Marikina
City to the mountains of San Mateo, Rizal.
Procedures:
Participating teams are required to fill-up
the
official Sandugo Adventure Race Registration Forms
will be available at the following outdoor shops:

5.Tukad (970-B P. Campa, Sampaloc Manila) &
6.Chris Outdoor Plaza (all SM Outlets)
Each participating team should be composed of 3
members
for Mixed Open Category (2 male & 1 female) &
3 male members for Mens Open Category. Deadline for
the submission
of registration forms are only up to
April 3, 2004.
The race committee reserves the sole discretion of
accepting
or denying teams from entering the race
event as provided by the Rules governing the race
event.
Equipment:
Team Provided- Participating teams should
provide the following equipments necessary for the race;
3 mountain bikes with extra interior tires (no sleek tires)
3
harnesses
carabiners
individual helmets
sling (2pcs per team member)
compass
gloves
hydration system
basic
first aid kit
1 Cellphone (to be used in case of emergency)
Official Race Equipment/Team Sponsorship:
All participating
teams will be given the official
Sandugo Adventure Race bib. Team sponsorship shall be
allowed specially on equipment,
provided they do not
outstand the official event race bib.
Race Categories and Registration Fees:
The Sandugo Adventure
Race will have two 2 racing categories Mixed Open Category & Mens Open Category.
Registration Fee is PhP 1,500.00
Schedule & Venue:
The race will take place on April
24, 2004 in San
Mateo Rizal & Marikina City. It is easy to assume that
the predisposition toward visual arts and
the
indigenous creativity of the people raised within the
lakeshore communities, is a priceless inheritance for
countless
of generations. The place has some peaks to
conquer, river system to trek and a cave system to
explore. It is one quiet,
peaceful town in the midst
of the mountains. The place is not yet fully explored
by outsiders particularly mountaineers
but is very
promising & a perfect spot as an adventure destination
for adventure racers, mountain parks and resorts
for
fun & adventure seekers.

The registration fee per participating team is

Team sponsorship is allowed as long as official
Sandugo
Adventure Race bib is still worn in front on
sponsored teams.
